When we think of Cancer and how it impacts on someone's life, we at Body Empowerment, want to send a message of love, support and Empowerment throughout the country to anyone who has been effected directly and indirectly from Cancer.
The Empowering Bodies Calendar brings together people from all walks of life and ages, all with stories to tell and burdens to bare but they have powered through finding strength and support through fitness and the friendships that are formed in these community based gyms.
Exercise has long been shown to have so many positive effects on the body, inspired by her training in Cancer Rehab and the sad loss of her father to Lung cancer, Olivia decided there would be no more worthy cause then to donate to the Irish Cancer Society and hopefully in doing this help bring more awareness to the importance of maintaining physical activity for all the positive health benefits it has.
We have been extremely blessed to have world renowned hair stylist Keith Harris come on board this amazing journey to help bring the creative vision to life. Keith has an extensive career in hair working with some of the biggest celebrities and fashion icons. We are also thrilled to be working with Shaun Barry photography one of the leading physique photographers in the business in Ireland and Catherine McKeown MUA who on the day of her mothers anniversary (who was lost to cancer) received a phonecall asking would she be interested in being a part of our calendar. Taking it as a sign from her late mother we are delighted to also have her on board
